What should we bring on our Duck Hunt?
Shotgun: 20 or 12 gauge with an improved cylinder choke.
Shells: Non-Toxic 1 1/8oz to 1 3/8oz of shot. Size 3,2, or BB. Follow Winchester Shotguns for more information.
Waders: You may not need waders, but we hate to limit clients’ opportunities for success.
Rain Jacket: We get lots of rain each Duck Hunting Season, so dress accordingly. Your camo pattern should be muted not bright. Follow the Best Camo Patterns for more information.
Food and or Snacks and Water: We are Duck Hunting Guides, not Chefs. Bring food and non-alcoholic drinks for the blind.
Oklahoma Duck Hunting License and Stamp: We can NOT take waterfowlers out without a proper license and stamp. Buy Online.
What is the typical weather for OK Duck Season?
You could have some warm dry weather early in the Duck Season and Cold Rain-Snow late. We always recommend checking the weather 3-4 days prior to your hunt. Follow Madill OK Weather for more information.

Do You sell ammunition?
NO, we do not have a license to sell ammunition. Please visit your local gun shop, Academy, or Walmart before your hunt. We recommend 2 boxes of shells per hunter for each trip. Follow Shotgun Shells for more information.
How Long Are Your Duck Hunts?
We like to start before sunup (5AM) and hunts usually end around 11 AM.
What are your prices?

What are your Cast & Blast trips?
We Duck Hunt on the Red River or Lake Texoma until Noon, then Striper Fish until 4 PM. A great way to experience what Southern Oklahoma has to offer the outdoorsman. Follow Cast & Blast for more information.

Duck Limits – The daily bag limit for ducks is six. The daily bag limit may include no more than: Five mallards (only two may be hens), three wood ducks, three scaup, two redheads, two canvasbacks and one northern pintail.
